It’s February and E-Learning Technologies is well on its way. A goal of the unit is to provide our member institutions with opportunities to acquire information concerning technology they may or may not be aware of. This is accomplished by offering workshops throughout the semester.

In fall 2013, E-Learning Technologies collaborated with librarian, Jordan Moore, and presented a workshop on a new presentation program, Prezi. The collaborative efforts resulted in a well-received educational experience for attendees, and requests to bring the workshop back the following year.

In response to those requests, the unit will revisit workshop favorites such as Prezi and Camtasia—providing an overview of the concepts covered in the previous workshop and introducing new information.

Along with your favorites, we are introducing new workshop topics such as Indesign (in collaboration with Reference Librarian, Sandra Mannings) and Teamspot.  A complete list of workshop topics and dates are listed on our research guide.
